The SOYO I combined cycle power plant project is the first large-scale thermal power generation project undertaken by CMEC in Angola, and the largest gas turbine power plant project in Africa so far. The plant consists of two two-towed (2*209E) combined cycle units with a total installed capacity of 750 MW. The completion and commissioning of the power station will effectively improve the situation of electricity shortage in Angola, and inject new strong impetus to promote economic development and improve people's lives in Angola.
