Product Description

FRP sand-filling pipe is the result of years of successful manufacturing experience and scientific research and development of GRAD Group. It is a representative of reliability, safety and economy, mainly used in buried pipes and long-distance pipelines. It has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, long service life, low operation and maintenance costs, and can save a lot of funds for construction projects.

Main forming process

Under computer control, the inner lining is manufactured on the core mold in accordance with the same process as that for fiber-wound fiberglass reinforced plastic pipes. After gelating, the structural layer is wound in the designed line shape and thickness, and the mortar mixed with quartz sand and resin is wound in the structural layer. Finally, the outer protective layer is wound.

Continuous winding is due to the combination of technology and equipment, and the main raw materials such as resin, curing agent, chopped glass fiber, and quartz sand are accurately metered and automatically supplied by the servo system, thereby minimizing the impact of human factors during the production process. The winding process is implemented strictly in accordance with the process sheet, and the performance dispersion of the final product is very small, and the quality is very stable. 

※High axial and ring strength

Due to the different design of the pipeline layup process, the continuous winding has chopped fibers distributed between the layers of the winding, and the chopped fibers are interspersed and distributed in the circumferential winding fiber layer and the resin interlayer, forming an approximate 3D weave distribution. The bonding strength is greatly improved, and the axial and ring strength are high.

※High efficiency, low raw material loss

The steel belt continuous moulding method is adopted. The liner, inner structure layer, sand layer and outer structure layer are formed at one time, and they are heated and cured by the heating device at the back of the mould, and the mould is automatically demoulded. Materials such as resin, chopped fiber, quartz sand, etc., all adopt servo precise automatic feeding system, which makes high production speed and high efficiency. And the raw material consumption is accurately controlled to minimize waste.


Process features

✸Pipe wall shaping features

Continuous winding fiber reinforced plastic pipe(CWFP) adopts process of arranging raw materials along the axial direction, forming one layer after each revolution of the steel belt, and the pipe wall is superimposed by several layers. And the thinner the thickness of a single ply, the stronger its integrity and the better its performance.

✸Chopped fiber with full cross-section distribution

CWFP uniformly distributes a large number of chopped fibers between the circular winding fiber layers and in the quartz sand layer, which makes the pipe have high strength and strong impermeability.

✸Perfect three-dimensional reinforcement structure

In the structural layer of the CWFPmolding process, under the sufficient infiltration of the tree fertilizer matrix, the quartz sand, the chopped fiber and the circular fiber are interwoven together, and the pipe wall structure is solidified into a three-dimensional reinforced structure to greatly enhance the pipe wall resistant to the shearing and bending resistance.

✸Unlimited pipe length

The unit length of the pipe is not limited by the mold, and in theory, it can be of any length.
